I had a couple of upgrades I'd decided I could no longer sit on and had to pull together my own, much lesser, version of this deal via:
- $35 CPU/fan new via eBay
- $50 for 16GB of DDR4 RAM via local craigslist/FB marketplace
- $70 motherboard via Amazon
So going through alternate channels I actually got a decent bundle price at $!55... but it took a lot of effort and I definitely got a minimum Win11 desktop horsepower configuration.I had to select for a 3000G (much less powerful, but still sufficient for the systems in question and with integrated graphics!)
I was lucky enough to find a local kid parting out their system selling four (4) 8GB DIMMs for under $100
