The last few generations probably don't even know what the abbreviation for SAE even means...
Too busy staring at their phones in their parents basements...

Lol at the comments. Yeah most everything I work on is metric these days. Prolly 85%. I use the SAE for my classic cars mostly.

Most of all construction in the USA is still SAE. We have been building retail stores and restaurants for 30+ years, SAE still rules the blueprints.

I am sure knowing it is Society for Automotive Engineers will help them go far in life.

I am also willing to share the AT command codes for setting a modem to 1200 baud if they would just stay off my lawn.
