That is absolutely user error. Incorrect pan prep and wrong type of cake recipe (they said in the comments they added layers of extra brown sugar, which is good as glue in a bundt pan). Pam sells a flour+oil spray and its all you need.

Cooks relatively evenly surprisingly. They are more cooked (a little), but nowhere near overcooked.

The non-stick coating on my old Nordic Bundt pan is chipping and peeling, but I guess that might just be the nature of non-stick coatings. Planned obsolescence and all that
