The Switch OLED bundle stands out as a solid way to play Mario Kart and other Mario games, especially in handheld use or for a kid. The OLED screen is the main draw, and the system is still described as great for simply playing games, with docked Mario play also working fine on the original Switch. The main drawback is value, since the refurbished price is close to used and even brand new bundle pricing, while the Switch 1 hardware is seen as aging and slower than Switch 2. It feels most appealing if the screen matters more than chasing newer performance.
parents who just want to play Mario with their kid because the OLED Switch is "great for just playing Mario" and works well for that simple, docked-at-home use case.
people primarily playing docked Mario Kart 8 Deluxe because one commenter says even the original non-OLED Switch is "just fine" for docked Mario, and another notes Switch 2 mainly improves things like boot wait time rather than making docked play feel fundamentally different.
buyers who want a Switch for lighter/older titles or as a "beater" for kids because multiple commenters suggest saving for Switch 2 for performance-heavy games, while the OLED can still be a workable option for simpler use.
collectors who care about the OLED screen and plan to keep the system long-term because one commenter says they "love my OLED and it will be a keeper" and they're particular about owning physical games on it.
buyers expecting a "real deal" on a refurbished unit because one commenter says the refurbished price "seems like a reach" and that refurbs are about $250 on eBay.
parents comparing Switch OLED vs Switch 2 for a kid when the budget is tight because one commenter is deterred by Switch 2's higher price and the concern about $80 games, and they also worry about whether the "old/slow" OLED will be satisfying (including mentioning 30 fps).
people who want the newest performance improvements for demanding games because commenters point out Switch OLED can lag/crash on titles like Disney Dreamlight Valley (feeling like ~15-20 fps), and they expect Switch 2 to be much improved.
buyers who don't care about the screen and are trying to maximize value because one commenter argues OLED is only worthwhile if you care about the screen, and otherwise suggests going cheaper (used OG Switch or wired controllers) or biting the bullet for Switch 2.

Whether this is a good price or not I can't say as I haven't been following OLED switch prices since the 2 came out.
Though I should probably start paying attention and sell my OLED switch.
I play Disney Dreamlight Valley which lags and crashes often on Switch OLED/Switch/Switch Lite. The game devs already reduced textures so the graphics look a lot blurrier but it still runs like crap. It honestly doesn't feel like 30 fps. More like 15-20. I've also played the game on PS4 and even that works so much better than the Switch 1.
The graphics are the same on Switch 2 but the performance is much improved. It's getting a free Switch 2 update later this month and I'm looking forward to not having the blurry mess we have how.

As for a negative, battery life is probably the biggest one for Switch 2 if you play on the go. If you have a portable power bank though, recharging is easy. Its worth noting that I charge up to 80-90% for preserving the battery for the long run. Yes, there are others negatives aside from this one though.
So there it is, a pro and a con. Most posts are one sided with the scope and don't say both positives and negatives.
I'll probably buy a Switch2 in a few years if they come down in price and there's lots of used HQ games available for cheap. If not, I can live without.
