One year ago I purchased similar Orico 1 TB SSD for about $50, now all you get is the enclosure.

It's basic gear. I have two of their DAS, one of them for five years the other more recent. 48TB of stored media and files on that one. And more recently a super cheap 2.5" SSD enclosure that I'm pleased with. I have had a good experience.

I'm not sure how I feel about the high current PD charging going through something they designed at this price point, but that is my only objection. I put things like that up with high end features like docks - all cheap ones suck.
