If only there was a way to get them to work with an XBox. (Or maybe there is a way and I didn't know - someone tell me it's possible)

Before, you could buy a "Bluetooth USB adapter" for around $20. You'd connect your third-party controller to the adapter, plug it into the Xbox, and the console would treat it like a normal Xbox controller.
Now those adapters still exist, but they require a workaround: you need to also plug an Xbox-branded controller into the adapter to bypass the xbox accessory check. They can't work standalone anymore.
Some higher-end adapters avoid this by including a real Xbox authentication chip (usually taken from official controllers or direct from factories). These cost around $50–60, which is roughly the same as buying the $20 adapter plus an Xbox controller, but they're pre-packaged, pre-built, less bulky, and works standalone.
Either way, you're paying extra. The total ends up around $110: $50 for the GameSir controller + $20 adapter + $40 Xbox controller. At that point it's not cheap anymore, unless you really want to use your GameSir on Xbox.
