This is akin to eating cookies for breakfast. No surprise the sugar content is out of control for a pack of these.

Has anyone tried these? What do they taste like compared to PopTarts?

Yea, I've never paid much attention to the nutritional content of Pop Tarts. I recently noticed the OBSCENE amount of sugar, fat and calories these things have. Two pastries (96g), have 340 calories, 26g of sugar, and 8g of fat - 4.5g of it saturated fat. You could literally eat candy bars or cookies and nearly get the same amount of nutrients and calories. Mad

You can get the same thing at Walmart or a dollar store for the same price (per ounce, it's 6 and 12 counts at Walmart) and with all the flavors, not just fudge (an unpopular flavor).

If you want a cheap healthy option, you can make sough dough starter out of just flour (like buy an 8lb bag of flour from Walmart for all your baking needs for awhile, and then use the discard in say a cast iron waffle maker, and without using yeast, sugar or any thing else, have really tasty waffles all the time. A lot cheaper, a lot healthier, a lot tastier.

Slightly more flavorful than Poptarts. I don't know why, because calories are essentially the same when comparing.

I think everyone buying these isn't going in all innocent thinking they're doing their body any good. It's junk food full stop lol
