This dryer vent cleaner kit is mainly valued for its slim, flexible hose that reaches deep into the lint trap area and tight bends where standard vacuum attachments cannot fit. It can pull out a surprising amount of lint, improve airflow, and even help with other hard to reach spots like fridge coils or under furniture. The included brush and vacuum combo is often described as more useful than suction alone. Fit can be finicky on some vacuums, and the narrow hose may clog, whistle loudly, or feel too flimsy for heavy buildup.
homeowners who want to clean dryer lint without opening the dryer and pulling it out by hand because the vacuum hose attachment can reach the lint trap area and pull out a surprising amount of lint.
shop-vac owners who want an attachment that can maneuver into tight spaces (like under furniture) because the hose is described as maneuverable in small cavities and useful for reaching hard-to-reach areas beyond the dryer vent.
people who also want to clean other tight spots like fridge coils because commenters report using the same attachment to pull lint/dust from places such as fridge cooling fins and coils.
people who need a smaller-diameter vacuum attachment to get further down into the dryer vent access because the hose attachment is narrower than typical shop-vac hoses and can fit deeper into the cavity near the lint trap.
renters or anyone trying to avoid disassembling appliances because commenters say it's easier/safer than taking apart the dryer to reach lint and reduces the hassle of scratching hands on screws and plastic parts.
buyers who already have a skinny long vacuum attachment and just want a compatible vacuum-head option because the kit is mainly useful when you want to attach it to your existing vacuum to clean the vent.
buyers who want a tool that's thorough for the full exhaust path because commenters describe the kit as "decent but not thorough" and suggest a drill-attachment brush for more complete pipe cleaning.
people who plan to use cardboard/paper-towel-tube hacks with vacuum suction because commenters report the tube can collapse under suction and won't stay intact.
people whose vacuum attachment doesn't seal well or can't retrieve lint because at least one commenter said it "does not make a good seal" and couldn't retrieve any lint, calling it a waste of money.
Shark vacuum owners who need guaranteed compatibility because one commenter said they're returning it because it doesn't fit on their Shark vacuum.
buyers who expect the vacuum-only approach to remove attached lint because commenters warn that suction alone may not reach lint that's stuck to the dryer interior and you should brush first to scrape it loose.
people with vents that have lots of large lint chunks because the hose can clog easily and may require unclogging multiple times during cleaning.

But also learn from my fail. If your vent pipe inside the wall is soft and not a metal pipe, don't get one of those drill brushes. I did and it tore right through it. Had to cut the drywall out and replace it, but made it a solid metal pipe this time. Silver lining is the existing one was badly clogged so prevented a potential fire hazard.
I like that it's long to get under furniture, behind dryers etc. Just with one vac I have to have someone hold the vac head, while I move the hose around to get into all the corners etc.
