I don't see it mine, only $1 BOGO for famous stars - SoCal

Community Reviews

Carl's Jr. Cali XL BOGO is a targeted Rewards offer with different prices showing up by account, including free, $1, $2, and $3 versions. The burger itself is huge, with roughly 7 ounces of meat per sandwich and patties just under a quarter pound each, and it can stack with gift card discounts. Flavor depends on the build, with extra classic sauce or grilled onions helping a lot. The main caveat is the uneven offer availability and pricing, so the exact value depends on what appears in your app.

I too am in SoCal and got this same offer. I use deals everytime I order Carls so it may have something to do with that.

Well, luck is not on our side this St. Patrick's Day. Probably get it if we asked if they had any old burgers we could do this deal on. They sure would be green and moldy!

These are massive, I think it's like 2 quarter pound patties. It was okay but my had almost no salt on it so everything was pretty bland. That is probably just my order though as their burgers usually have more flavorful. Even the cheese on the paper was pretty bland. If it had more seasoning it would be really good. It's a pretty crazy deal though, 6 dollars for a burger that size, and to get 2 for that price is primo.
I add extra classic sauce + choose one extra sauce and it's delightful Smilie it's 7 oz of meat precooked in each burger, each patty is slightly smaller than a quarter pound but yeah very substantial

I'm not usually a fan of Carl's but I got this over the weekend and I was actually impressed. Very substantial and tasty although I did get it with extra grilled onions (free) so that might have made a difference.

Oh, interesting. Maybe it's targeted. Attached is the offer in my Rewards Dashboard. It says "Member Exclusive." I also received an email offering it.

Does anyone else have this offer?

I had the Cali XL tonight for the first time. I modified it to add pickles. It tasted like a Big Mac but with more meat. Similar sauce, sesame bun, lettuce, & added pickles. The XL has thin tomatoes which I could barely taste. The grilled onions were subtle. Overall, I thought it was very good. Good value with the BOGO Free.

Carl's is A/B testing this as BOGO Free vs BOGO $1.
They are also A/B testing $5 of $15 vs $5 off $20.

A/B testing. Some people get BOGO Free (me), others get BOGO $1 (my friend)

That's larger than I thought it would be. Guess I'll have to try it.
