I have this jack and so far it's been solid (and heavy, as you'd expect). This price comes around pretty regularly. If you need it now, buy it. If you can wait for the one in April as @nottrollin above said, and need a lower profile, then wait.

Is the 2 ton low profile jack going to be on sale too? I want to put a jack in the trunk but the 3 ton seems kinda heavy

I bought this recently. Just make sure to take the plastic locking tab out before pumping or it will bend the round bar.

It's worth waiting for the low profile jack. A lot of cars are too low for the standard jack.

When I have to lift a low vehicle and I don't have a low-rise jack, I drive it onto 2x4s. That gives enough clearance underneath for a regular jack.

Would it be worth it to try and wait for the Daytona model to go on sale at $100 instead?

I have this one, works great for my SUV. Finally seeing this pre-pandemic price after a long time

Daytona is there flagship brand, so far I have never seeing going below $100. Probably $134 is the lowest I have ever saw, but if it ever went low than I have missed that window

I have four cars and the only one I need to do this to is my Honda Fit. Ground clearance is very low. 2x4s are the trick but I have to roll it up on the front ... then the back to lift it all the way up. It's a pain but manageable.
