Unlike the rest of the G3 Series, the 83" G3 does NOT have MLA. The 83" G4 does.

I would rather get the LG 83 C5 from the partner store for 2700, and the C5 does have the brightness booster so it would be brighter than this G3 (plus getting a 2025 TV rather than a 2023 TV). Alternatively the 77 G5 from partner store for 2700, make a small size sacrifice for the gain in brightness in SDR and HDR.

The bottom line is this isn't a good deal for several reasons. The C5 is superior. I am waiting for a G5. I have the 77"" G3 now.

77 inch G3 here as well and there is a reason why I don't have 83" and it wasn't lack of room or lack of money or want for a bigger TV. Same as everybody else said the 77 inch is a better screen than the 83" as far as the 3 series goes. G3 is a pimp TV. Couldn't be happier but going from a 65 inch to a 77 was such a life-changing and immersive experience I'm going 100+ inches next time. I don't care if I can't sit far enough away to where I can see the pixels in the picture looks worse. As long as it's a good quality TV bigger is better and the only people that don't think so. Can't afford a good quality hundred plus inch TV or their wife won't let them buy one. Or you can't get it down your parents stairs to your basement gamer dungeon.....
