  • Set the Rooms or Zone your button controls, adjust settings to remote control lights or start an automation, choose scenes you want for each time slot, and more in the Hue app

oh nice! I didn't realise they had put out a new one. The old buttons were a real pain to change the batteries.

Yes, if you create a scene and use the button to activate that scene.

So true. My current button has been dead for months because every time I try to change the battery, I fear I'm going to break it.
