This one looks good. Similar to the dewalt with the reverse grip that you can stomp on.

its quite good. actually outperforms the dewalt tbh. the amount it increases per pump is much more exact than the dewalt and it can hold 400lbs vs dewalt's 340lb (both have been able to do far more than these advertised weights, ymmv)

Head to head review (in German, but captions available) between the Bessey, Stanley (similar to Dewalt), and Viking Arm. This Bessey took the top spot: https://youtu.be/1xCX8E20hZE

Plus it reverses into a clamp, like the Viking Arm. So in that sense, it's the best of both worlds.

The only downside is the lack of accessories in the US, if you need them to, say, lift kitchen cabinets during installation. Viking's is already available, Dewalt will ship theirs in April, but no telling if or when Bessey will bring their version here.

good post - I hadn't seen the Bessey version of this tool before. I thought it was just Dewalt and Irwin

Always take into account how these tests never follow up with the test of time. Many have pieces which will fail under constant stress tests. One off best-of ability is not a test of long term reliability. That's always been my gripe with Project Farm. Half the things he pushes as top rated have high failure rates when used consistently, as they should be used.

Definitely a decent tool to have around the house. The next step up is a "toe jack" if you're looking to lift a quarter ton or more.
