Community Reviews

This is a very cheap corned beef round, best for low and slow cooking rather than brisket-style slicing. The cut is leaner than brisket, so the texture can be firmer and drier if it is not cooked carefully. Cooking ideas include crockpot, Instant Pot, or an overnight soak to cut sodium, and the seasoning packet works well with beef broth. Availability is location dependent, but the deal has been active with free shipping in some areas.

Sorry to hear that it's sold out in your area. Keep checking back because it was sold out in our area yesterday and it's back again. It'll sell out fast at that price!

Ordered a bunch of these last night, delivered this morning! Not that it makes it any less of a deal, but be aware that this is NOT "brisket." This is ROUND.
So, it is likely very different in terms of the texture/marbling than the typical "point or flat" you see in stores. You may want to google the difference...

Corned Beef Round

  • Fat Content: Leaner than brisket, with less marbling.
  • Texture: Firmer and slightly drier if not cooked properly.
  • Taste: Milder, with a meatier flavor but less richness than brisket.
  • Location on the Cow: Cut from the rear leg of the cow (the round primal).

"Corned beef round flat"
Thanks for confirming for others it is just as the title states. (It should be more lean)
