For those interested.

There is a current rebate on this item, however REBATE is NOT valid on Walmart.com. It is valid in store at Walmart and requires a B&M cash register receipt.

Typically price is $5--7 more in store, if your local store will PM to the Walmart.com price, you can get the rebate. It isn't clear if getting a PM in store is a sure thing as haven't located a firm policy on their website. if there isn't one, it is up to store discretion. So YMMV of course. Be sure to read and understand the rebate specifics before you head to Walmart B&M so you know what purchases and documentation is required to submit for the rebate.

I just get Kirkland oil from Costco. Comes in 2 five quart box .Cheaper and works fine for me

this seems like a decent price for a Group III+ synthetic oil. OW-20 is also at same price As I have recently learned, all full synthetics are not the same. Group III+ is not as good as Group IV, but it is materially better than the Group III synthetic oil I was previously buying from Costco. I may have too much oil on hand, but I may buy another one or two at Wally Thx OP

I tried Pennzoil rebates a couple of years ago and never got the rebate

I've never had an issue getting the store to price match walmart.com. Maybe it's just the store by me.

Great if you can PM it so the rebate is valid to submit. Whether it is a chain wide policy to PM their .com prices at B&M locations, I can't say. Walmart has changed their price matching policies over time, so best to consider it on a store by store basis unless there's a definitive published policy on their website.

None of these are good quality oils. The European Specs ones are not included, and those are the only ones I would consider as "quality" oil. Ultra ones are also not included. This is cheap oil, probably the same quality as the Costco one. Works for most cars, but this is not high quality oil. I would just get the Costco one instead.

I just got some the other day it was 35.99. I got it because with the oil going up because of Iran. I wanted to get it before the price went up. NORMAL it's 30.99 on sale. So I paid an extra $5 just to make sure it didn't go up too much

People worry too much about the oil. If you change at 5 or 6k then it's just fine. Did an oil analysis and it came back that I could extend it longer.
