Glass jar liquids from Amazon? eek! While I like this soup, I can't imagine taking this risk and then having to take photos of the mess in order to get a refund from Amazon.
Yeah 3/8 Sauce jars were opened for me from that last deal we had. They only wrapped 4 of them in paper and guess what those were the ones opened. Poured em into ziplock and froze em + refund

I order a LOT of food in cans, bottles and jars from Amazon and haven't yet had a damaged bottle or jar. Cans are occasionally dented but that likely occurred from rough handling at the warehouse and not during shipping (since the shipping box is undamaged). The stupidest damagew I've gotten are dry foods shipped in envelopes rather than boxes. Who's the idiot who decided to ship chips and instant ramen in an envelope???

I was thinking the same thing. I ordered a cased of canned soup, and they came fairly well dented.
Dents likely resulted from rough handling at the warehouse and not during shipping. If the shipping box is undamaged, that's usually the case.

Won't deliver to Amazon locker which I thought would be safer. Also if you try and change the quantity of the s&s, price goes back up to 3.97 per
That's because the coupon only applies to the first jar. You should still see the initial discount for the first jar, but the subsequent jars will be regular SS price. If you want the coupon to apply to multiple items, see if you can find a bundle. For example, if you want the Italian Wedding, go here for the 6 jar bundle. The 20% coupon will apply to all 6, bringing the price down to $2.58 each jar.

If it's home made why 720mg sodium.
I'm not sure what you're asking. Have you ever measure his much salt you use when cooking at home? A colleague of mine told his patients to avoid processed and store cooked food. He then told them to cook their own meals and measure approximately how much salt they used, including condiments like soy sauce. After a week, he concluded that they used as much or even more than what's normally in packages food.

Here's the lesson... People like to blame manufacturers for loading their products with salt and sugar. The fact is they put it there because consumers want it. Many companies put out healthy low-salt versions but consumers simply don't like it. So don't blame the manufacturers.

We no longer tell our patients to avoid processed and ultraprocessed foods. Fact is, there are no studies showing that "processing" harm people, independent of salt and sugar. We now take the same harm reduction approach we use with drug addicts and sex workers. Instead of telling people to abstain from their "vices," which never works, we incorporate them to do the least harm possible. In addition to counseling, we teach heroin addicts how to clean their syringes and sex workers how to use condoms. Similarly, I tell patients to read labels. The labels tell you exactly how much sodium and other nutrients you're consuming. Try doing that with home cooking. That's especially great for diabetics.

So don't knock processed foods. Like anything, including home cooking, enjoy it in moderation.
