This game has performance issues on PC, I think it's just poorly optimized. But it is indeed fun.

I played it on the PC a while back. It's definitely *not* an open world game, but a metroidvania game. I thought it was great and for 2 bucks it's a no brainer, especially if you're into metroidvanias.

If I recall correctly the original developer, sadly, had to close the studio some time ago. Same group who did Torchlight 1 & 2. We did actually get a Torchlight 3 from a different developer but it seemingly wasn't nearly as well received as the original two.

Thanks for mentioning the PC issues. I always wondered why this of all games ran so poorly on my system when more demanding games run really well. Might give it a try on Switch 2 at this price (and the new visual Boost mode might help, too).

Edit: Ran it again on my PC and now it works great. Not sure if latest Nvidia drivers helped or there was an update.
