they have been around forever they are typically very expensive and only made by pro tool makers. i bet you might see these in countries where impact tools are expensive.

Is this used mainly in the heavy equipment industry? I was gonna buy the Ridgid high torque (1k+ ft-lbs) when it was on sale, but don't really need it past passenger cars lol

I own a Snap On that I picked up at a yard sale. Probably wasn't cheap when new. Weighs about 15 lbs, works great.
