Are you saying this because you know what you're talking about and have a deep understanding of precisely how Amazon works, or because you heard other people say it and you're parting what they say?
Cause I've had like 20 argument on this app about this exact thing and not a single time has anyone had any clue what they were talking about.
If you buy something that's shipped and sold by Amazon, you're fine. If you buy something that's "premium brand sourced", meaning only the manufacturer can have their listings up and no 3rd party sales on the marketplace are even allowed, you're fine. One of the big fragrance brands does this, I forgot which, maybe Armani?
Never buy from 3rd Party sellers on the marketplace.

Never? There are plenty of legit vendors on Amazon, just a little research or knowing is needed
I literally got Spicebomb Metallic Musk for $45 off ebay(3.04oz bottle). I used PayPal so I said meh worse case it's fake I get refunded. And shit is legit authentic, think it came from Latin America before the states to get the price that low. And I was a "never eBay" guy but gave it a whirl on a seller with 5.0 stars over 1k transactions, just super random lol
