I sort of cringe when I hear people calling the Neo a "budget" laptop when I know this exists. A more affordable Macbook is good for everyone, but this is a budget laptop.

There is a difference between budget+usable+fast laptop vs a cheap+slow+crappybattery laptop.

This one is funny. https://www.windowscentral.com/ha...tter-specs

I guess windows were overpriced so they are trying to match Neo's price.

But it's still all you need for word processing, streaming videos and submitting work/school work. Heck the place I used to work had like 10 laptops with these specs or worse and they were selling a bunch of custom orders with them.

Hey look a cheap throw away laptop that doesn't have a crappy 2 core processor and slow mechanical hard drive. Probably the worst thing about this is windows 11 S mode. This will make a fine machine for someone needing basic computing on a budget.
