I have an earlier model of this series, and it has been rock solid. However, note that I've had ZERO success with 3rd-party toner, and there are also counterfeit branded toners. The 3rd party stuff works a short while and then leaks everywhere, leaves huge streaks, etc. Have tried a few different brands, not worth the hassle. I don't know if it's the design of the cartridges, or 3rd party quality has just gone that far downhill, but a set of Canon brand toners will run you more then the printer itself, and they cheap out and give you starter color cartridges (and a "standard" black) in the box with the printer. Talk about e-waste.

Do these rewards expire or not? Some notes on Staples website say never expire, some say expire last day of the following month. Confusing..

You should see the pending points on your order details around 15 minutes after placing an online order. The actual points will post to your account a few minutes after doing an in store purchase and around a day after it is delivered for an online purchase. I believe if you purchase online and pick up in store that works like an online purchase and the points won't post until the next day.

Staples Easy Rewards points do not expire as long as your account remains active. An account is considered active if you earn or redeem at least one point within an 18-month period. However, once points are converted into rewards coupons, those specific rewards typically expire on the last day of the following month.

I've got a Canon imageCLASS MF653Cdw, and I couldn't be happier with it. Had it for about 3 years now, very happy with Cannon.

I have a MF644Cdw I got in Nov 2019 and am also been very happy with it. Still works great, drivers still work in Windows 11. I put third-party Amazon toner in it this year without issues.

One feature I really like is that I can print envelopes without having to manually adjust anything. When I insert the envelope into the manual feed, it asks which type of paper and then knows to adjust the print settings to avoid wrinkling the envelope. Another popular brand requires manually adjusting the pressure via levers in the back of the printer.

Same here. Starter toner was perfect. 2 generic failed quickly to the point I hate that thing.
I actually had better luck with junk HP 9025 e inkjet i never began with generics that we abuse in my classrooms the last 3 years

Points do not get converted into rewards coupons...they haven't done that for years. When you want to redeem points, you just redeem the points towards your purchase...there are no reward coupons.
