People get really excited over backlit keyboards for some reason, as in it's a deal breaker for them. Never understood it. I can count on two hands the number of times I've used my laptop when it's so dark I can't see the keys, and I used to use mine outside at night sometimes for work. No knock on anyone - if it's important to you, it's important to you. I just am genuinely confused as to why, outside of niche situations.

I feel like the slightly more expensive refurbs from Acer ($400) using the newer Intel 200 series processors are a better value for your dollar as the performance leap is significant. This is an older Zen 2 generation processor and it's more similar in performance of a Ryzen 5300U from 2021.

This is the same laptop and also from Acer that was $247 many times over the past 10 days and has sold out. Perhaps Acer is seeing if they can get $70 more for the same one and if they can still sell out.

10 key on the right spoils it. If I'm doing accounting or video games I'll get a separate 10 key, or just buy a laptop that I can use a Fn key to enable one.

I'm not sure if this youtube video qualifies as "correct info" but it's been my experience if the first part of the model number.. looks like it's "A315-24PT" .. is the same then normally the youtube videos talking about upgrades tend to have the same info despite the rest of the model number being different in the case of acer laptops - could be wrong if so somebody let me know!

Looks like ram is not upgradeable (I know I know, with the AI centers gobbling up ram like an insane pac-man your response would be "who cares" and you wouldn't be wrong Stick Out Tongue ) and it, like most laptops, has the single m2 slot drive... not saying it's a bad deal mind you OP thanks for posting it Smilie but if I'm correct could be useful info for anyone considering buying one.

We're about to have no more deals on computers with RAM/SSD prices lately. Unless you want something even older than several years ago (this Ryzen 5 7520U is from 2022)
