And the explosion of "boneless wings" is no accident. They need to cut the "woody chicken" into smaller pieces so you won't be grossed out by their too quickly grown franken-breasts that feel like you are chewing on rubber bands. Gross AF.

And these should not be 50 cents a piece! Maybe 30 cents!?!?! Sorry I remember the day when I could buy wings on bone for 10 cents. Anything above 25 cents now days is hard for me to stomach. Oh the good olde days!

Chances are the wage in your state went up too.

So, I understand inflation. I was paying 25 cents way back in 2006. Using an inflation calculator it's equivalent to 40 cents in today's dollar. I still am influenced by Remba-Berries and nostalgia. I'm an old fart. So, these restaurants charging $12+ for a dozen wings when they should cost around $4.80 it's highway robbery. Yes - I haven't had wings in a long time!

I got excited when I seen 50cent wings , today it's hard to find a dollar a wing takeout or eat in. I'm not a fan of boneless so I'll skip this one. I don't understand why it's this current price , buying wings uncooked frozen or not has not increased as high as takeout has. I got 2-1/2lbs frozen wings from giant on sale 5$ recent . I'd imagine restaurants pay less than that.

If you want $1 a wing: Wingstop, Popeyes, KFC, and Zaxby's (I think, but they keep raising their prices every September).

Many chains have openly admitted that during covid they raised prices and realized they had no reason to reduce prices after things returned to normal. CEO of Chipotle pretty much gave the finger to thrifty consumers stating that most of their repeat customers make over $100,000 annually so they're not going to bust their profits by giving people lower prices.
Which sauces does everyone like on these "wings"? They all sound tasty and it'll be hard to choose!

So maximum of 50 wings per transaction? Hopefully my local one doesn't add any fees for to go orders. Been ages since I got anything to go from them.
