They tried to but ultimately could not because Woot was not the original seller, and the warranty is based on when it was sold by the original seller. So, while it is new in box, it does not come with the expected warranty.
Woot offered to replace it, but I assume any replacement would likely have the same issue, and I don't want to deal with porting the cellular service again.
