Community Reviews

This Apple Watch Series 9 deal stands out for the stainless steel, cellular model at a sharp price, with several recent purchases described as sleek and effectively like new. Recent arrivals included original Apple packaging, Apple certified refurbished condition, and batteries at 100 percent or fresh battery replacements. The main caution is warranty handling, since Woot units have arrived with expired coverage or required manual Apple date updates. It is a strong value if you are comfortable checking the warranty details.

Got he Graphite SS one from Woot earlier this week for $229 and it came in yesterday. Perfect Apple certified refurbished condition in an original apple box.
yea i kinda regret not getting that but was the battery over 95%? it was so annoying becuase i asked chatgpt what the condition would be and it said it's not guaranteed to be pristine cosmetic condition. that's why i didn't buy it since i already had a premium renew coming from amazon. when the premium renew arrived it wasnt great. then like 2 days later i asked it a more specific question and it said everyone says it's in pristine condition it's just not guaranteed. by then it was sold out on woot. i don't know if it's as of late but both chatgpt and gemini gives you the answer that you ask and not the full answer. so basically you literally have to already know the answer to get the answer you need.

Yeah but it was an Apple refurb so basically new with a full warranty if you got the same stainless steel 41 mm one that I got.

Wow that is a fantastic deal, I just created a deal alert, my deal alert was for the Apple watch SE, but at these prices yes I'd happily have a 10 instead. I missed that one, I'll look out for the next deal on the 10. Thanks, repped you.

https://www.apple.com/shop/refurbished/about

"You will receive a refurbished device with genuine Apple replacement parts (as needed) that has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Refurbished iOS devices will come with new battery and outer shell. Every device will come with all accessories, cables and operating systems. All Apple Certified Refurbished products are packaged in a brand new white box and will be sent to you with free shipping and returns."

Next time go to the source instead of asking an LLM to give you a best guess or hallucination.

You will 100% need to manually activate your warranty with Apple by providing your receipt and calling Apple support (since this stock is so old, unless you are exceedingly lucky and get a much newer manufacturing date, maybe). There is a decent chance Apple will be sticklers and refuse to honor the warranty since Woot was not the original shipment point when they came from the factory. I bought 2 of these last month from Woot, and I had my warranties denied today when I finally called Apple about it. Without a purchase date, you cannot even activate AppleCare One, but I was at least able to get an "expired" purchase date so that I could do that at a bare minimum. I had to pursue a partial refund from Woot.

Got one weeks ago, it's sleek! Imo, better looking than titanium.
Was the warranty on yours still in effect, or was it expired?

Debating whether to ask Woot to exchange mine. Otherwise very happy with the purchase.
