Not bad as a budget gaming PC. Just know this company has a history of shipping these with preloaded malware. Don't use it for something that could compromise you
And to think you would do better when addressed after making this same misleading troll comment on the previous thread as well.
This has been addressed and clarified a hundred times now over the past few years.
Acemagic: "Our software developers, in an effort to enhance user experience by reducing initial boot time, made adjustments to the Microsoft source code, including network settings, without obtaining software digital signatures, and the RGB lighting control software was also without one. This oversight led to isolated reports of virus-infected mini PCs manufactured before November 18, 2023."
They were lax in their digital signature network security a couple of years ago when trying to make their slow devices faster. That resulted in viruses able to get onto systems. There was no hardware or software "malware" installed, the digital security software has long since been strengthened, and there have been no repeats of the problem. Fake outrage over things like this when trying to get a computer on the cheap is silly.
It would be better to stick to facts in the present tense, with the present device, such as information on whether it lives up to its stated specs and prices. That would be more helpful than just copy pasting something you read on some posts 3-4 years ago. Do better, thanks.

Or you could just extract the drivers and then reinstall Windows, if you're concerned.
Considering the cost of memory lately, this is a pretty good deal, even though it's probably noname memory and it's a refurb.

The issue was that they wrote this off as a network configuration and custom rgb issue but never addressed the fact that inspecting firewall traffic resulted in seeing an insanely high volume of data going back to ace magic subsidiaries. Unless their rgb fix was cloud dependent (its not) there's no reason for that volume of data to be phoning back home like that. People hyped up the false virus reports, but that's all the company responded on

This would make a pretty sweet batocera rig, or you could play older PC games and indie titles. The 680m igpu is not terrible.

Am I missing something here or is this an amazing deal for just the DDR5 Ram. I'm not sure what brand comes with it but a dual channel 32GB of DDR 5 5600 kit is the same price as this unit on amazon by itself.

Legion Go with Z1 Extreme uses a better chip (Zen 4 vs Zen 3+, 4nm vs 6nm with better energy efficiency, RDNA 3 GPU vs RDNA 2 with more memory bandwidth and higher performance).

But really the two devices are in totally different categories. So ... do you want a handheld? If so then get a handheld (like the Legion Go).

If you have the opportunity to get them at similar prices? Then the Legion Go absolutely. No question.

I bought a barebones 6800H version last year but had to return it. Every time I used a USB slot the PC would hang. I couldn't do anything with the PC which sucked since I bought 32GB of RAM. At least the RAM was relatively affordable since it was before the manufactured shortage.

I think therein lies the deal. Even used this RAM is worth $200. If it were new it'd be worth more than the sale price of the computer in this crazy market.
