The Ninja Woodfire outdoor grill and smoker is a compact electric option for quick smoking, grilling, and air frying, especially where open flame is restricted in townhomes or condos. It can turn out fast wings and other weeknight cooks, and the smaller chamber is credited with even cooking and solid smoke flavor. The pellets are used for smoke flavor while the heating element does the cooking, but the smoke can taste a bit heavy or artificial, so shorter smoke times and a grill finish help. The base size feels tight for more than two people, and the XL is the preferred version for more room.
The electric woodfire design can fit homes that restrict open-flame smokers or grills.
The grill can produce quick smoking results in cold weather when using a pre-smoke then grill-finish approach.
Weekly use can work well for small households, with the base model still supporting regular cooking routines.
Compared with a Masterbuilt electric smoker, the Ninja can deliver better smoke flavor and more even cooking.
The current pricing can feel excessive, with some buyers preferring to wait for the XL or questioning the value versus prior deals.
The smoke flavor can come across as too strong or slightly fake, which may require shorter smoke time and a grill finish.
The base model can feel too small for some cooks, with limited space for what needs to fit inside.
Pellet combustion quality may depend on maintaining appropriate conditions, and cooler operation can risk dirty smoke until pellets burn hot enough.

At minimum, if you're new to this style of electric grill I'd recommend making sure you try it with at least a few different things during the return window. Like I said a lot of people love it and how it cooks and you might too... but find out while you can still get your $300 back if you don't
