Depends what you do with it. You can remove the atomizer nozzle with a small screwdriver and now you have a battery powered backpack storage water gun.

Thats what I did to the smaller free one I got from DTO years ago. I left the other two in so it can still be used for its intended purpose. I used mine alot with my paludarium, and it works great when doing wet sanding (like headlight restoration).

You have to jerry rig it like the other comment above, but its cheap and worth it to me. I use it to spray pesticides

They can barely give away all the Ryobi electrostatic sprayers that they overproduced during Covid.

A tool in search of a purpose. Ryobi should run a contest for the most inventive repurposing of these sprayers.

I was thinking of getting one to spray neem oil or spinosad. Does the system get clogged up with these oily substances?

Bought one and it was good for one use and then the nozzles clogged up. Soaked them in soap and water but didn't make a difference. Went in the garbage.

I returned mine after a day. I tested it with water. Suction through the tube was leaky.

Generally I give Ryobi products high marks for their cost but their whole line of electrostatic sprayers are garbage products rush produced during covid.

As a sprayer, they're mediocre at best and break frequently. As an electrostatic sprayer, they do no and CAN NOT work with how they're designed. I wouldn't take one if it was free.

Praise be to commenters. I was going to buy, but looks to be a poor product. Makes for a nice toy.
