This Samsung 256GB MicroSD Express card stands out as a low price for a name brand Express model and is aimed at faster transfers on compatible devices. It is backwards compatible, so it should still work in devices that do not use Express speeds, and it has been compared favorably with other 256GB cards in the same price range. The main caveat is compatibility, since some devices cannot use Express cards at all, and dash cams are better matched to High Endurance cards for constant write cycles. A solid option when the device supports it.
The card can support faster transfers on compatible devices using the microSD Express standard.
The card is reportedly backwards compatible, so it should work in devices that accept microSD cards.
The card may be a cheaper option than Samsung Endurance models with similar storage capacity.
The card may be priced as one of the lowest name-brand 256GB microSD Express deals seen.
Dash cams may not benefit from microSD Express speeds and may instead require an Endurance-labeled card for heavy write cycles.
Some devices may be unable to use higher-capacity or Express microSD cards.
This gaming-focused card may wear out sooner than true Samsung Endurance cards under constant write workloads.
Some devices may require an Express-labeled SD card, which can limit compatibility for non-Express storage.

This micro sd aimed more for gaming, with its fast read and random iops speeds.
The Sansung Endurance cards are, as mentioned, slower because they are meant for sequential read/write. Their nand chips are built to last constant write cycles. Per google, Up to 140,160 Hours (16+ years).
This card will work, as will any, but it might die sooner than a proper Samsung Endurance card. How soon? Who knows. Ive been using non Endurance cards on home security cams for years and no problems.
