Good TV, though. I like mine. It
If you mainly watch 4K HDR or other high-bitrate content, the TCL will likely impress you. However, if you also spend time watching standard TV (like YouTube TV or over-the-air broadcasts), I'd reconsider. The image processing and upscaling just don't measure up to Sony and LG. On a screen approaching 100", weaker upscaling becomes very noticeable, resulting in a soft-looking image, even from about 12 feet away.I tried adjusting every setting, using a wired Ethernet connection, and even relying on external devices like Apple TV and Nvidia Shield for upscaling, but nothing improved the picture enough to eliminate the issue.
The Bravia 9, on the other hand, has been excellent, accurate colors, natural skin tones, and overall superior processing. The Bravia 7 uses the same processor as the 9, so it's also worth considering.

By all accounts it's an incredible TV for the price. Reviews generally state it's not worth the price difference for the QM9k.
Been debating picking this up instead of a projector but it's hard to let go of my 65" LG OLED...
