I've got the touch screen and I don't know if that is worth an extra $100. It does make it a bit simpler to use the computer, but not stunningly so. I have to lock the touchscreen most rides as I sweat too much and will get false inputs from the drips.

IF I sweat down while riding, never lands on my bars & my Garmin is out front of them also!

I'm interested in this as I do bike a lot but wondering what the advantages are versus having my phone mounted and using that for tracking and gps? I couldn't see much from the product description but I'm guessing that it has more to offer.

Google search will give you the pros/cons of a phone vs computer for riding.
