This ECO-WORTHY setup is a 5.12 kWh, 48V backup system aimed at keeping critical loads running, especially lights, fridge, Internet, and a well pump. The inverter is described as supporting 240V split phase input and output, with installation typically handled through a transfer switch, interlock kit, or hardwire to a 50 amp breaker. The main limitation is runtime, since the battery is framed as short duration for heavier household loads and not suited to hot water heaters, dryers, or air conditioning for long. There is also concern that the inverter may only output 120V unless units are paired in parallel, so the voltage setup needs careful checking.

Your installer screwed you royally. I would blast their name out there so others don't get screwed too.
That's how systems are installed in my area too. If the solar does not see grid power, they stop producing and you live off of batteries.

That is not how they do it here. When the grid goes out solar runs the house and charges the batteries.

Always depends. My electric waterheater uses about 3.5kwh per day (every day for the past two years). Lights on and watching tv on a laptop with a home server, still using 650w. 15kwh gets me about 12hr of regular daily living. That's with oven and cooktop use. Clothes dryer is another story and that will kill my battery fast. Things is that for an emergency situation i can milk the batteries out for days. Those other forums are a much better place to get good ideas. But you might find something good here every once in a while.
Yeah, but you are looking at a day average. When the water heater comes on it is maxing the 3-4 kw for twenty plus minutes. Same with the stove. That 3.5 kw will kill this battery. With this battery you can forget running hot water, stove, dryer, and the AC for any significant amount of time.

Not 3.5kw, but kwh. So i can use my water heater for 24 hours of normal use plus other stuff from this battery. I'm telling you my actual power consumption per day for the last few years, not what's on my label.

If your hot water heater is using 3.5 kwhr per day then you have one of the best there is. Typical use is about ten kwhr. Hot water heaters consume so much power that in my prior home my 5kw generator would bog down to the point it would almost stall when I would turn on my hot water heater. A 15 kwhr battery is three times as large as this one. Any way you look at it, this is a back up system for critical breakers. Not a whole house system.

YES, it supports BOTH INPUT AND OUTPUT 240V SPLIT PHASE.

L1 = 120V
L2 = 120V
N = NEUTRAL
PE = GROUND
I dont think its 220v output. When you look up the model number listed in the listing (L03HRXNKUS5.5KUSL1003U1U-1) on ecoworthys website it says the following:

The output voltage of one inverter is 120v, and more than two inverters can output 120v/208v/240v in parallel. (Two units MINIMUM have to be in parallel to achieve 220V power.)
