The laptop may lake the red dot and physcal mouse buttons but the build quality is solid. I got 15" for a family member and they are very pleased. But this was before the price hikes.

I like the thinkpad quality for the past 19 years I've been buying only thinkpads but I hate them red dots. They always come in the way of typing.

How is that the same specs? The screen is substantially worse. 1080P 60hz on the Asus vs 2.8k 120hz on the Lenovo.

Thanks for the double reply - the Asus has a 1920 x 1200 screen - which on a 14" laptop is plenty - plus the Asus has (2) USB-A ports - if you think the screen is work the extra $500 (plus tax) go for the Lenovo but for 99% of people the Asus is probably the better option - same CPU, GPU, NPU, more ports
