This HP Omen 16 deal stands out for strong specs at a lower price, with 32GB of DDR5, an i7 14650HX, and an RTX 5070, plus free shipping and a bundled mouse. The package also picked up extras like a backpack, a free Resident Evil code, and in some orders a 3 year extended warranty or cashback offers. The main knocks are the black matte finish that shows fingerprints and some uncertainty around the 8GB RTX 5070 in heavier games. A solid value play if you want a well equipped 16 inch gaming laptop.
Common Questions (5)
The price can land around $1,125 before tax with coupon code LOOTDROP, but totals vary by cart and shipping. Reported checkout examples range from about $1,156.91 to $1,384.48 depending on added items, tax, and whether support honors the original price.
Yes, support can honor the original price if it changes while you are checking out. One reported outcome was a full price match after about an hour in chat, while another got only a $200 refund back to the card after shipping.
Yes, the 5000-series GPU promo includes a free Resident Evil code. It is sent by email within 30 days after the order is delivered.
Yes, this configuration includes 32GB DDR5 and a 1TB SSD, which is a strong spec set for the price. The 32GB memory is especially notable because it is getting harder to find laptops with that much RAM preinstalled.
Yes, the black matte finish shows fingerprints easily. That is a cosmetic downside, but it does not affect the included hardware or deal value.

Also, my Chase credit card had a $50 back with $799 or more purchase via HP.
Can finally retire my old Acer Predator from like 2014-2015. Lasted multiple deployments, customs, thousands of miles, drops, stompings, liquid, rockets and so on lol. I'll probably just sell for parts.
