I noticed this too in the description, but it's unlikely it only includes 1 of the 2 needed filters. Otherwise the reviews specific to this item on the bottom would note this omission. Still, I have one unit being shipped to me so we'll find out!

I got this and it was delivered today. It came with new type A prefilter and type R filter x2 so its ready to use. My unit is clean and has minimal scratch on control panel.

Smaller filter than the winix. Have a couple of Honeywell units that utilize the R filter but changed them out in the main areas for the winix refurb @ $60

Another confirmation that these do come with new/sealed hepa and prefilters.
Received in excellent condition and no issues with both. Absolute steal for the price.
