Also, if you are new to Tracfone, when you activate your plan with the new phone, you are given 1,000 reward points (worth $10) as a new user. If you have a referral code, you will be given additional 1,500 points (worth $15). You can get a referral code from any existing Tracfone user. The reward points can be used to buy plans add-ons.
I had a Samsung A15 (the previous version of A16) with 128GB ROM and 4GB RAM. It was usable but slow. I just activated a new one-year plan bundled with Moto G Power 2024 (bought from QVC) with 128GB ROM and 8GB RAM. It is a lot faster and smoother. Yes, I did move my phone number along with the remaining min/text/data from my Samsung A15. BTW Moto G Power is much better than Moto G. The 8GB RAM rocks.
If you want to switch to a better phone, you can buy a Tracfone SIM card from Best Buy and contact Tracfone support to switch the device after you activate the original phone with the bundled plan.

1. I have a Moto G with an expired 1yr plan from last year. Can I buy this and use the old number?

I agree I have the Moto g stylus 2021 that I bought for both me and my mom and my mom's phone pretty much starting to fall apart after just a barely using it for a couple years we're not heavy on use on cell phones many just for when we go out but mine glass actually has come away from the case every time I hold it the glue strips just doesn't stick I can hold it open to almost I'm going to say 2 in at an angle so yeah and then I have to buy all new glue strips which is about $20 or more so you might as well buy the Samsung but don't say I worry about the Samsung is the audio on this phone sucks really bad you can't hear anybody and people can't hear you that well is the volume on speaker and on earpiece and on holding up to your ear any good on the Samsung? I need something really loud

I have to admit the glass is tough as hell I only drop his phone one time by accident in Atlantic face down on concrete jagged porch and it didn't even scratch it at all I couldn't believe it
