thats what i mean though.. just a bunch of custom characters instead of fully fleshed out ones that were thoughtfully developed

However, because this removes them from your party long-term, a lot of people just make a throwaway character for this objective...
It will be up to you if you want to role-play something more significant by giving up someone you actually played with or not!
