I get that they're annoying, but if someone swallows one it can kill you. Hence the annoying packaging and the bitter taste they add to them.

Thanks OP. My car's key fob uses 2450's and jerryrigging a 2032 to fit works, but the battery hardly lasts a year.

You may want to try and lightly sand off the protective coating.

Got mine, ordered two 2-packs, both have an expiration date of 3/2034 and a trademark date of 2024.

Safe to say, these have been sitting for a few years, hence the reduced price.
