Simple guidance
• Choose VA if: you want a budget gaming/work monitor, leave static content on screen for hours, or just want "good enough" image and smoothness for less money.
• Choose OLED if: you care a lot about picture quality, play lots of fast games, use it mainly for gaming/media, and you're okay paying more and using burn‑in protections.

Basically VA panels have their place still but OLEDs will give higher picture quality (at a higher price).

Saying "VA panel" in monitor threads or "soldered RAM" in laptop posts seems to have replaced people screaming posting "FIRST" at the beginning of every thread's comment section. IMO like mentioning (or complaining about) the wetness of water....
