I have used Fios for more than 10 years and never had major outages. Occasionally, I need to reboot my router, but that might be a router issue.

I finally switched to T-Mobile 5G internet after yet another VZ price increase and piss poor customer service (and we dumped their cell service after 20+ years), and it's definitely not better. It's not bad and is cheaper than the comparable download speed with FIOS, but it's not as reliable and has far slower upload speeds (100-200 Mb) and slower pings. It's mostly fine, but I may wind up switching back to FIOS in a few months for the stability. Honestly, I don't think there's a better internet service than FIOS.
