Ironically enough, the same saw and a 4ah HP battery/charger are on sale for 2 dollars less.
I can't make it make sense.

I want/need a new/better/bigger miter. I currently have the ryobi 7.25 compound one+, normally I'd say yes to this but I'm starting to think that for some tools it's best to go wired.

Get the Bauer 10" wired. It $240 and you can wait for a coupon to get it under $200 including tax. I bought Bauer 7-1/4" 20v for $130 total and extremely happy with it.
