1. Its a plastic casing. There are ones with die cast casing.
2. It has 220ft/lbs of torque. Other models have 275-375.
Is this enough to get lug nuts off? Depends on how rusty i guess.

Lots of promotional reviews on HD's site, a few real ones mention this struggling with lug nuts, pass for me.
