I can't speak to their hiking boots, but I wear their tennis shoes every day and the price to quality ratio on them is fantastic. I paid about $40 and they are more comfortable and higher quality than shoes that I've paid 3x as much for.

I bought a pair last year of the Hoka versions they make during Black Friday for about $45. Not Hoka replacements, and I felt a little ripped off at close to $50 with tax. I did just buy a second pair of the slip on shoes for camping with the current $27 deal, that is there true worth. At $30, I might try these myself, don't like taking my more expensive shoes camping, and this brand is comfortable, just not like walking on pillows like Hoka Bondi, which I use for long days on my feet.

It is Amazon anyway, easy enough to return if they suck.

My husband bought a pair of boots from this brand and he loves them. He's been wearing them all winter.

I have a pair of the steel toes I got for under $30 and they are a fair value at that price point. Comfortable enough and exterior holds up OK. At $60, I would go with something else.

I also have a pair of snow boots from them. Definitely worth the price point. I'd even put them up to about $60ish.

I have their 9" tactical men's boot and think they're great. Got 'em on an Amazon sale. Incredible price, like sure I'll give them a try for the price price. I replaced a pair of Merrills that I'd basically worn out but for $178 I wasn't in any rush to buy again (happy with those Merrills too, just a steep price). I've had these NORTIVs for about 15 months now and have been damn pleased for the fit, comfort, wear resistance, tread life and value. Only reason I can't do these is they aren't tall enough (bad ankles)

I bought a pair of these shoes on their website for, yes, $12, must have been a website glitch or something. Anyhoo, one of the most comfortable boots I've tried. I haven't tried many, but this boot is comfy AF. Way more comfy than my $100+ Oboz hikers. I have neuropathy in my feet due to chemo, and these Nortive 8 shoes felt like walking on clouds, at least to me, so YMMV. I also have a pair of their walking/running shoes for my heel spur, and it immediately goes away when I wear them. I highly recommend these shoes.

Not sure I'd even call it a brand. It's not available at REI, not available at Sierra, Big 5, Dick's etc. It's no name on Amazon. Probably at best walmart shoe quality.
Not really understanding this...Its not a brand because the stores you like don't carry it?
This brand seems up and coming with inexpensive options that someone with a need for less doesn't have to spend twice the amount for a over inflated rival brand at the stores you listed.
I have a pair of the tactical boots & their barefoot shoes and I can't see myself getting ripped off by another brand for more money.

I got a pair of their sandals last year and wore them through the summer. (Closed-toe hiking type sandals, not strappy Teva-like sandals.) No complaints on those. They are comfortable, fit well, and held up through some fairly light use. Not stylish, but what sandals are? Another dad in town called them out once, noting he too had gotten the budget Nortiv8 sandals on Amazon and was pleased with them. That was... weird? Don't know him well, but can picture him being a SDer.

I have one. I wear an 8 wide. I got an 8 wide for Christmas. Used it for the first time two Saturdays ago. The front/side of the boot hurts my pinky toe. By the end on 5 miles, I was ready to not walk anymore. Maybe it's one size too small or something. Not sure.
