How does this compare to Tabasco and Crystal? I'm guessing a little more vinegary since that's the first ingredient?

Trappey's is closer to Crystal, but all three are very vinegary. Tabasco is much different, it has a wonderfully unique and distinct fermented flavor that sets it apart.

Similar to Tabasco, but I would say it's a bit less vinegary. Better flavor in my opinion. My entire family prefers Red Devil to Tabasco.

Thanks for the comparison to Crystal, now I know to skip on Trappey's. Crystal has a slight ammonia smell/flavor that I dislike.

Agree, very similar to Crystal. If you like that, you'll like Red Devil.
