This is a package of 12 and you use one every month. Not sure what marketing idiot came up with "52 week supply"

Still, not a bad deal - thanks!

My top load has never been cleaned in the 7+ years I have used it, still sparkling clean and no odors. What in the heck are people doing with their machines?
What do people use this for? Or is this a solution looking for a problem kind of product?

I refuse to ever buy or use front loaders, I like to be able to close the washing machine lid and not worry about mold

Yes, solution looking for a problem but also - you're probably cleaner than many people. Never had a real serious need for these tablets until significant other moved in. Dirty and slob are generous for them! While I am breaking up with them for a myriad of reasons, being dirty is #1. Have found (pet?) poop, wads of hair, remains of bugs in washer and same in dryer lint collection. Going to do a deep weekend clean when they're gone. Love them but can't ever live with them smh

Personally we just use a dishwasher tablet and add some Clorox/bleach and hit the clean cycle when needed

I've actually found boxes of dollar store cleaner with 3 packets and it works really well. Specifically at dollar tree. When used in conjunction with the self clean feature it's plenty good enough to get rid of built up softener and detergent. Even cheaper than this and I'd imagine it's similar ingredients.

My 11 year-old machine has never been cleaned. Don't want the musky smell, leave door open after using and removed the detergent dispense tray to prevent molds. I wash during the weekend and the door remains open until next weekend.
