This is for serious data contractors. My first job in the IBEW electrical union was with a contractor that has a data side to the business. We would pull in 100 Cat-6 cables into a server rack, terminate and test each and every jack. If the data transmits, it's good to go. Each testing would take 30 seconds to a minute?
When I was handling it I didn't think I had a $15,000 piece of equipment in my hand 😅

I mean, cable testers exist for less than $60. I'd assume this does more than that, $9,940 worth of value more.

If you're just doing basic testing - cable good/no good, go with something simpler like: https://www.amazon.com/Mcbazel-Ne...B0FDGMLVKV

Or if you want to buy $10 minimum for Choice products from aliexpress, go with: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32...46899.html

If you're a union electrician and pull cable for a living, get your company to pay for the Fluke

Well I'm not an electrical contractor. They can do whatever they want with their money. If they find value buying this it's their choice. I'm not running 60-100 data testing 😂

If you're running a dozen cables through your home (like me), this is not your tool. This is for guys who need to be able to certify that the cables they've run are meeting specific technical standards and warranty their work. This is more high-end than even qualification (like the LinkIQ at around $2,000) which validates throughput speeds for professional cable runners.

It's not the price error, it's real. Is it made of gold, platinum, diamond, uranium ... and designed by ET? I'm uncivilized. haha.
