$299 for the arc SL shadow edition is a heck of a deal. - No microphone but otherwise the same speaker. This is decent though if you can live with white. I ordered one - was waiting for the $299 deal to come back on the other version but got impatient and pulled the trigger. Coming direct from Sonos makes me feel a little better about the referb process as well.

I'm tempted on this. I have been waiting for an arc ultra deal to come around again but this is a really good price. Am I going to miss out on much of if I get this vs wait for an ultra? Anyone had both?

I have heard both, and I own the ultra, but I would say it's about 20% better than the regular arc, and is better if you've got error 300s in the rears. But if you're looking to just have the error 100s as rears, they pair nicely with the regular arc.

From what I have read, arc premium with sub 3 is better than arc ultra by itself. Both in terms of price and sound quality overall
