I have the early version of this power bank with the normal black coated cable, not the braided cable. My experience is with the black cable. It works fine.
I wouldn't worry about it. However, I never pull the cable like a carry strap. This idea is stupid.
My only gripe is the recharging is only at 27W. Charging is at 45W. True, but I didn't notice the recharging was 27W when I bought it last year.
$20 is not the lowest price. I paid $18.45 in May 2025. Will I buy it again? I'll think about it, because I want something recharging at 65W or at least 45W.
Other than that, I like the power bank. I don't use it every day, thuo. It's for traveling.

That said I recommend the INIU Mini line that has higher output and is smaller. Only trade-off is you lose the weak flashlight.
Definitely email them. Warranty on INIU works.
