Can anyone attest to the quality of the built in USB-C? I feel like the removal USB-C would be better bc if this breaks inside the housing, will it be repairable?

Even if it breaks, there's a USB A and USB C output to use your own cable

I've had this one for about 7 months now and so far the cable is holding up - no frays, not loose. Based on the picture this looks like they updated it to a braided cable, mine is plastic.

yea but why buy one that could potentially only have one USB-C output? You can pass through charge with 2, or charge multiple devices

The power bank is sealed and self-contained. You don't repair, and/or replace anything. When it shows any sign of malfunction, throw it away (safely).
I have the early version of this power bank with the normal black coated cable, not the braided cable. My experience is with the black cable. It works fine.

I wouldn't worry about it. However, I never pull the cable like a carry strap. This idea is stupid.

My only gripe is the recharging is only at 27W. Charging is at 45W. True, but I didn't notice the recharging was 27W when I bought it last year.

$20 is not the lowest price. I paid $18.45 in May 2025. Will I buy it again? I'll think about it, because I want something recharging at 65W or at least 45W.
Other than that, I like the power bank. I don't use it every day, thuo. It's for traveling.

I agree with everything you are saying but hopefully you understand what I meant. I'm certainly not looking to repair or replace a power bank. Just looking for info on the strength and longevity of this type of cable. Seems like a bad design to have the only built in USB-C as a carry strap. Appreciate the info that yours is holding up.

I get you. As long as you don't pull on the cable like some kind of carry strap, it will last a long time.

I have the 10k mAh version. Has been very reliable, has been used extensively during my travels and I think INIU makes good powerbanks. I got the 10k version because it is so much lighter, the built in cable has seen good amount of tugging and abuse and it is still working perfectly. Hopefully this 20k version is built just as well

I got this in November, used a couple of times, never dropped. It's sitting on my desk right now dead.. lights up and blinks but does take or charge my phone. Flashlight also doesn't work. Planning to write to them to replace but haven't yet. YMMV
