Fyi likely won't work on AirTags as I've only had good experience with Panasonics for some reason.

"likely won't work on AirTags"

Oh yeah, why won't they work with AirTags but Panasonics will? It can't be the coating because the coating can be lightly sanded off.

That would most likely be an age issue, since, over time, these batteries do lose power.
If the voltage is normal, it shouldn't matter which brand you use....although some may lose power faster than others.
The coatings issue (which can interfere in some cases), can be resolved with a piece of fine sandpaper or an emery board and then cleaning off the residue with a alcohol swab.
BTW, the dates specified on all of these batteries is a joke!

It can be the coating if it's not removed. Not everyone realizes that it can easily be removed.

Correct....but there are two issues. Power depletion (these batteries lose some power even in sealed packaging) and the coating (which can be removed easily).

From my experience, Rayovac batteries tend to be more prone to leakage than others (and I've used all of the primary brands). Both inside of devices and (even more commonly) sitting in their original packaging.
I've never used their "button" batteries (which are kinda obscure in the retail world), but, IMO, I wouldn't trust them.

Same here. I've have both AA and AAA batteries leak.

I think as a rule lithium's don't leak. At least that's why I use them in my dive computer.

Maybe I'm missing something here but don't lithium batteries lose much less power in storage than alkalines? I doubt these specific 2032 are any worse than Duracell or Energizer in that regard.
